I had to stop my Humira and Leflunomide in mid November as I was not well (but the Methotrexate continued). I am able to start them again but does anyone have any idea how long it will take for the drugs to start working again. I am having big problems with my right hip and right knee making mobility a major issue.

Just wondered if anyone else had had to stop their Anti-TNF for any period and how they found it when they started again.

Many thanks

Mary xx

Hi Mary,

I had to stop the humira for quite some time last year, and I didn`t feel too bad, joints-wise - rheumy nurse said it stays in the sysrem for a few weeks. Once I re-started I soon felt the benefit.

Hope you feel better soon,

Kathleen x

Hello Mary,

Only popped in to say how nice it is to see you posting . Sorry that you are having problems and hope that the drugs kick in again quickly.
